My passion for studying the American Civil War first began to blossom decades ago as a result of a weekend trip with my parents to the Gettysburg Battlefield.  Little did I realize as we explored such places as the boulders of Devil's Den, the winding little stream known as Plum Run, or climbed the slopes of the Round Tops, that my life would be forever changed.

Nearly four decades have passed since that first visit to Gettysburg and the motivation to continually study the field and the tactics used grows stronger as the years march on.  Thus, my main reason for creating this web site is an attempt to share my love for this most precious battlefield and to hopefully inspire  the next generation to study, protect, and defend it.  The ultimate goal is to always honor and admire the men who so bravely fought and died in defense of their beliefs and way of life.  Regardless which color uniform they wore, they were all proud Americans and we can never forget any one of them.

Another reason I chose to embark on this web site is my passion for relic hunting or what we enthusiasts term "diggin"!  Along with the excitement received by unearthing a long lost relic from the War for Southern Independence, buying and selling these treasures is another great hobby I enjoy.  I have also learned to appreciate items brought home from W.W. II as well as from other eras in history.  I will be selling authentic Gettysburg recovered relics, items from the Civil War in general, W.W. II and earlier.  If you have an item you would like to sell, please consider e-mailing me for my best offer.  And please, stop back often as I update on a regular basis and you may find a unique relic you might want to call your own!

A LONG OVERDUE TRIBUTE

_____________________________________________________

This site is dedicated to honor the brave men and women who have fought, died, and served not only in the Civil War, but all the conflicts this great nation has been involved in.  Without their sacrifices, the United States of America would not possess the values we citizens are blessed with today.  A plain thank you will never express fully the honor you truly deserve!
